Monica Basile is an artist and healer with a compassionate heart.
Monica spent 28 years as a midwife and birth doula. She brings her love of liminal spaces into her work as an energy healer and mentor, helping people navigate the subtle, imaginal, and creative realms with self-compassion and acceptance.
Her appreciation of the natural world, and her ability to translate energetic signatures into visual form, are the essence of her work as an artist and designer.
She is known for her calm and loving presence, her soothing voice, her detailed botanical drawings, and her ability to find the magical within the mundane.
A practical mystic, Monica believes that everyone has access to spiritual discovery, and that the smallest, most everyday experiences can initiate profound insight and connection with the sacred.
Monica holds a PhD in gender, women’s and sexuality studies. Her commitments to social, reproductive, and environmental justice are present in all she does.
